A Budget hotel in a convenient location

After visiting the Tirumala temple, we all came back to the TTD parking area in Tirupati (Sree Govinda raja Swamy choultry (II)). Though there were more than 250 rooms in this Choutly no. 2, we were told that all rooms are full. When we looked outside of the parking area, just in front of the gate, we have seen this Hotel - Adarsh Residency. Keeping all the luggages in the traveller, we couple of people walked across the road and talked to the Hotel manager about rooms. Non A/c rooms available at Rs.750 (double bed). We checked the rooms and found good with intercom, running hot water (only in the mornings), LED TV, though only few local channels were available, we find it is good budget hotel and centrally located (Railway station is nearby). one negative point is that the Hotel does not have a restaurant which means we have to walk down (say about 10 minutes walk) near the railway station for dinner or breakfast. Overall a Good Hotel!!

Stayed with family for 3 nights. Good budget hotel within walking distance of railway and bus stations and most amenities. Rooms and bathrooms are simple and clean. A/c and TV in all rooms. Occasionally found some unclean and frayed towels but were replaced on asking. The owner was courteous enough to drive me on his scooter to show me around the places from where we could commute to Tirumala and other places, within 10 mins of checking in. That was a very nice gesture from him. It doesn’t have a restaurant to one needs to go out for every meal except tea/coffee that they’ll procure on payment from the neighbouring shop. Hot water service only in the morning till around 10 am but given the temperatures in Tirupati, not a big drawback. The location of the hotel is a bit polluted with lots of traffic and a sewage drain right behind the hotel (luckily stench doesn’t reach the rooms). But overall a good budget hotel for a couple of days, considering most visitors would be busy visiting temples and hardly spend time in the hotel.

Just 5 minutes distance by railway station and bus station, my stay with family was awesome, very polite and professional staff, very neat and clean rooms with free WiFi, Led tv and giser available , All in all - most recommended

It was very convinient place, near railway station , very clean and well maintained Owner ( soni ) is also friendly and helpfull person . had visited in december 2017 during christmas holidays with family

Booked this place based on positive reviews. Stayed there on 29th & 30th Nov. There was cyclone & weather was chill. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!!! when asked, the receptionist says he'll provide next day. He wakes me at 6:30 & says to take bath. I being tired, wake up after sometime. At 7:30 there is NO Hot water. When I confront, he says I should have taken bath in that specific time. Come on, Seriously!!!! Am I staying in a HOSTEL??? After everything, During checkout - He asks for TIPS & he is not satisfied for 10 bucks for his measly service. & steals 30 bucks for his Great service. DONT EVER book this hotel.
